I have waited two months for this journal to arrive as it was on backorder! It was so worth the wait! It has changed a bit from the first version for the BEST!!!

The beige flecked cover with silk bookmark ribbon and larger pocket for pictures and ultrasounds is just the beginning. Color has been added to the artist’s work and there have been pregnancy related updates since my first pregnancy when I used this journal. Such as the cord blood banking topic was not in there before but is now. This journal covers a whole section for those on bedrest, which was me. It also asks about doctors visits, symptoms, baby developing and every other question imaginable. I noticed a little humor too. I love it and recommend it as a pregnancy gift like i received my first pregnancy.

The new Butterflies & Hiccups is great! Bigger pocket to put ultrasounds in, bolder print, color to accent the beautiful artwork and a silk ribbon book mark. It is a lovely journal to capture all of those special moments to share with your children when they BECOME adults and go through pregnancy themselves! Thanks for such a well thought out journal!!!!!!!

My husband gave me this journal as a gift. He is a producer who met Laurie (the author) at the Emmy Awards. I can see why her journal is so recognized. It is a beautifully crafted pregnancy journal with such a nice journaling feel. Thanks Laurie! Hopefully I will get to meet you next year at the event!

The book said it was used and in like new condition, but it had been written in by the previous buyer!! Luckily, it was only 3 pages.

This journal was suggested by a friend who met the author at the Emmys Award show recently. What a sweet gem this is-the price is so reasonable, I am going to buy all the girls in my lamaze class one! Can’t wait to share this with my child as she/he grows older. My husband and I are having a ball.
