I bought this for my wife a few weeks ago. She is pregnant and was tossing and turning all night long. Something had to be done. I could not sleep with all the pulling of the covers. She was becoming very disruptive. She actually found this pillow at my behest. Like magic no more tossing and turning from the wife. I can actually sleep. Fellas get this for your lady. It works great and is very comfortable and well constructed.

I bought this pillow when I was only 10 weeks along in my pregnancy. I am now at 33 weeks, and I’ve only spent one (miserable) night without this pillow over the past 23 weeks.

I was a little worried when I read the reviews before buying. Some people mention that the head piece cuts into their shoulders. I solved this by simply putting a regular pillow over that area, and it doesn’t bother me at all. The covers are a little hard to put back on, but my husband was able to do so on several occasions without problems.

The comfort that I get out of this pillow greatly outweighs any possible negative sides. As I’ve come along with my pregnancy, the pillow provides a lot of support for my back and belly at the same time, allowing me to actually get a good night’s sleep. I found it more than worth the money for what get out of this pillow. It’s a great buy and highly recommended.

This is a great pillow and I doubt I could have slept as well through pregnancy without it. However, it is not spouse friendly! I wouldn’t want to live without it now, but buyers should be aware of the downsides and what they may have to sacrifice in order to use this pillow – like snuggling. People who highly prioritize snuggling may prefer a single-sided body pillow.

Pros:

There are so many different positions! Usually I sleep on my left side hugging the long side of the pillow. When I want to switch sides, I curl the long side so that it can keep cushioning my knees and hug the short side. It is also great for proppping up your back and you can curl the long side around to be an under-knee support or foot rest. The booklet that comes with it even describes a way to use this for breastfeeding.

Very comfortable pillow – evenly filled with fluffiness.

Comes with its own pillow-cover – with this odd shape, you do not want to have to buy one.

The short side provides great back support – or if you want to lie on your back during pregnancy, you can prop it up under your right hip to be in a proper position to prevent the uterus from being on top of your vena cava.

Cons:

Spouse complains that it takes up the whole bed. Indeed, in our queen sized bed, the pillow plus me takes up three times as much as I used to.

Harder to cuddle – if you were used to spooning, this pillow gets in the way.

Too lofty to really rest your belly on it, which I’m told can be nice.

More difficult to get in and out of bed especially once you are very pregnant – always have to pull the pillow back into bed and re-arrange.

This is the worst pillow. [...]The cover is so uncomfortable and I wanted no part of it to touch my skin. It feels like cheap starched motel sheets. Also the curved neck part is sewn so tight that it digs into your neck and there is no belly support as it is thick all over. It feels like it gives good back support and I didn’t find it too big but I’m going to get a wedge instead for belly and back support and use my nice soft pillow for my head. I would not recommend this pillow at all.
